Christmas Concert Cuties

This afternoon was Summer's school Christmas concert. It was quite a production. They started out by presenting a local charity group with over $900 raised to help build a school in Kenya. Then the singing festivities began.

Summers group sang several songs. Don took still photos and I captured the video - a well coordinated effort. The darkness in the gym made both challenging.

Afterward we popped into Summer's class to say bye and I snapped a few photos of her with her EA Nicki and her buddy Ethan.

Summer stopped into her principal's office to read him a book. He was delighted. The next day I asked Summer if she did the same, and her response: "No Mom, He is a busy man you know!"
Whitney is going to paint our faces today. When you see me at the talent show, you might think to yourself: is that a real ninja?

Summer: "Hey Dad, can you get me a kleenex?" Dad: "I thought I was the 'bad dad' (from night before)?" Summer: "Well, you're not that special, just a little."
Summer: "Mom, Anna says I talk funny." Me: "Is Anna bigger than you?" Sum: "Well, I didn't measure..."
"When I grown up I am going to be a mom, but I am already a mom to my imaginary son and daughter!"
"So Daddy, I think I would like a pony..."
"When I grow up and I'm finished being a mom, I want to be an Acrobat!"
"My Daddy is Mr. Incredible!"

Summer was helping Emily dress Zazz, I popped my head in the door and Summer says: "Mom, don't come in, it extracts us!"
"Mom, I am going to build a new hospital and work there too. I am going to wear the same black uniform and my boss's name is Louise."
